When Shey (Sherab Shey Khandro) asked me to share a piece of my music to use underneath her live guided meditation, I was thrilled. She would be addressing a crowd of 700 as part of the Embracing Bliss Conference in Sedona, Arizona featuring speakers Dr. Joe Dispenza and Gregg Braden, among others. Having my music as part of her program, and part of the overall energy of the 4 day event, was so exciting! The only obstacle was that her meditation would be 27 minutes long, and I didn’t have a piece that length.
Yet!
We had already agreed that “Dawn of Tao”, with its escalating energy over a consistent slow tempo, would be the right piece. So I set about adding 10 minutes of music to the already published song. As I mentioned in a previous post, I always love interacting with this musical manifesto. There are always parts to add, lines to answer, spaces to fill, messages to infuse. The original tracking sessions were like being let loose in a most fabulous playground, and I was most inspired to revisit it. The newly produced 27 minute “Dawn of Tao” was custom tailored to fit Shey’s meditation. I will be offering this music as a bonus gift in my Patreon program soon to be unveiled. But for now, in order to hear it, you’ll have to attend one of Shey’s upcoming talks or meditation classes. Yowza!
